Since building our home in 2000, we have had a heart for sharing it with others. Even while raising our two sons, hospitality has been integral to our family. In addition to owning a cafe in Bolivar, we hosted numerous events, weddings, overnight guests & ticketed dinners at home.
Our kids are grown now, so we’re focusing on the farm. We’ve added a menagerie of animals & barns. We’ve been drawn to refine our services to more intimate agra-tourism offerings. Our entire walk-out basement has been completely renovated to include many amenities.

Cancellations
Cancellations occurring more than 14 days prior to arrival will be charged only a $25 administrative fee.
Cancellations occurring 14 or fewer days prior to arrival will be charged the total amount of the reservation.

Unfortunately, we are not yet accessible to persons with disabilities. If you need such assistance or accommodations, please contact us before booking. We will happily answer any questions about your specific needs. Stair use is part of the full guest experience, as our home is multi-level & we do not have a lift. If you are unable to use stairs, some alternatives can be offered with advanced planning.
Liability
Schofield Acres is a registered with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and is therefore covered under the Missouri Agritourism Law which states,
“WARNING: Under Missouri law, there is no liability for an injury or death of a participant in a registered agritourism activity conducted at this registered agritourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of such agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, but are not limited to, the potential of you as a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death and the potential of another participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this registered agritourism activity.”
